RETURN POLICY
In stock items may be returned, but charged a 10% re-stocking fee and must be returned within 30 days of purchase. Special order items are not returnable.

Bank card purchases if refunded on same day as purchase will be credited to your bank card. Bank card purchases, if refunded after 24 hours of purchase, will be issued a company check to card holder within 3 business days.

COOKIES
What are cookies, and why are they necessary?
A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your computer by a web server that uniquely identifies you, like an ID card. Much like you have different ID cards for work, the library, the video rental store, and so forth, many websites issue a cookie for many different purposes. For example, some cookies store the time of your last visit to the site, allowing the website to highlight what has changed since you were there last. Athletic Awards's cookie is used to store your shopping cart. Each time you add an item or go to view your cart, the cookie tells the web server which cart belongs to you.
It is important to note that a cookie is not dangerous, it is simply a piece of text. It is not a program, or a plug-in. It cannot be used as a virus, it is not spyware, it cannot access your hard drive, and it can only be read by the website that placed it there.

NAVIGATION
From our Home page, you may choose to go directly to the category that interests you or you may search the site by product or category:
- Search by Product - From the Home Page, select the product type you are interested in by selecting it in the Search by Product box. This option is also available on other pages.
- Search by Category - From the Home Page, enter your keyword into the search box of the category you are interested in. Once within a category, you may perform another search of that category, or return to the Home Page to search other categories.
- Search by Price - From within any category, you may search that category by price range by selecting a range from the search by price box.
At any time you may use your browser back and forth buttons to navigate within the site, or use the site navigation buttons.
To view the contents of your shopping basket or to checkout, click the shopping cart icon located to the upper right of the page. Once at your basket, you may:
When you add an item to your basket you are sent to the basket page to confirm your addition. From there you may Continue Shopping, Checkout or modify the contents of your basket by:
- Change the quantities in your basket. Type a new number in the "quantities box" and then click the "change quantities" button.
- Delete an Item. Click on the "delete" link at the right hand side of the product row.
- Continue Shopping. Click the continue shopping button. Your items will be saved in your basket while you are taken back to the top of our site. (You can still change the quantities later)
- Empty the Basket. Click on the "Empty the Basket" button. You will be a taken to a page that shows you your basket is empty. From there you may take the link back to the top of AthleticAwards.com
- Proceed with Order. Click Proceed with Order if you have added everything you want to your basket and are ready to purchase. If you have engraveable items in your basket, you will be taken to the Engraving area. Once you have entered your engraving information, you will proceed to Checkout.

SECURITY
Your confidentiality and the security of your credit card information are ensured by the use of Secure Sockets Layer or SSL technology. SSL is the Internet standard for the transmission of sensitive information on the web. It utilizes the highest level of encryption (encoding) available to the public and is much more secure than many of the other methods that people routinely use for credit card payment - including telephone or in-store purchase.
SSL is based on 128-bit encryption. To give you an idea of how secure that is imagine a briefcase lock with three ten-digit cylinders. That lock provides about 1,000 possible combinations. 128-bit encryption is like having a lock with 32 sixteen-digit cylinders, which, if you do the math, comes out to something in the neighborhood of 320,000,000,000,000,000 possible combinations. The security of our servers is tested and attested to by Verisign, the Secure Server Certification Authority of RSA Data Security, Inc. To view our security certificate, click on the security icon from any of the secure areas of our site. You can verify that you are in a secure area by looking at the key (Netscape 3.*) or padlock (Netscape 4.*) icon in the bottom left corner of your browser window. On a secure page, the key will be in one piece, the padlock will be closed. In Internet Explorer the padlock appears only when you are on a secure page.

Our Checkout process is in four simple steps with a final fifth page that contains your order confirmation and receipt:
- Step 1 - Customer and Shipping Information: Collects your billing information (and shipping information if different). NOTE: We do not share or sell any customer information.
- Step 2 - Shipping Preferences: We offer overnight, ground and will call options. Make your selection on this page.
- Step 3 - Confirmation: A summary of your order information. If you wish to change anything, please use your browser back button to do so. If not, proceed to -
- Step 4 - Secure Payment: We offer credit card (Visa or MasterCard), PO and pay by check options. Select your method and then click submit. NOTE: This page uses the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL - an Internet Security protocol) to encrypt and ensure the privacy of your information during transmission.
- Step 5 - Receipt: That's it! We suggest you write down the order number for reference. You may also print out this page for your records though you will also receive an order confirmation email.

We accept Visa and MasterCard payments and PO numbers (call us to arrange an account, 1-800-679-1990) for online payment. You may also send us a check. In all cases, your order will be processed as soon as we receive confirmation of payment.
